Stephan Saint Emett was born in the Spanish town Santander in 1962. At the age of four he and his parents moved to France, where he studied literature, architecture and art in Paris at the renowned Penninghen/Esag studios. After he had made a short film, for which he received several awards, he took up the idea to create three-dimensional figurines based on his film characters. At first he made his sculptures from polystyrene but soon afterwards he started working with wood paste and poly resin, which enabled him to work in a more practical way, with more precision and at a quicker pace. His passion for women inspired him to create a new collection of original Pin-Ups, whom vary in age but have one thing in common - they are all seated in design chairs.
