Van Gogh, Sunflowers
Bring the vibrant colors of Van Gogh to your desk with our pen holder, inspired by Sunflowers (1888, fourth version). In 1887, Van Gogh painted four still lifes of lying sunflowers in Paris, which were highly praised by his close friend Paul Gauguin, whose opinion Van Gogh valued greatly. A year later, he created four new “Sunflowers” for Gauguin’s bedroom in the “Yellow House” in Arles, where the two artists lived together for a short but intense period. In 1889, three more versions followed, closely related to the earlier series.
Functional and stylish, this pen holder provides the perfect home for all your pens, pencils, and markers, while letting you enjoy one of Van Gogh’s most iconic masterpieces every day.
