Seitei

Watanabe Seitei (1851 – 1918) Seitei was one of the first traditional Japanese painters to travel to Europe at the end of the 19th century. He combined the delicate style and characteristic fine colour schemes of kachoga, the art of bird and flower painting, with the realism of Western art.
