Ganesha and Lakshmi

Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshippe deities in the Hindu Panteon and is the Supreme God in the Ganaptaya sect. His depictions are found throughout India. Hindu denominations worship him regardless of affiliations. Devotion to Ganesha is widely diffused. Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of light, wealth and happiness, as well as beauty, courage, fertility and love. She is considered the mother of the universe in Hinduism and is worshipped during the annual Diwali festival of lights. (WU74301 Ganesha – h. 19 cm., WU75741 Lakshmi – h. 21 cm.)
La petite châtelaine, Camille Claudel

Between 1890 and 1893, at the height of their relationship, Claudel and Rodin stayed at the romantic castle L’Islette in the Loire valley. There Claudel portrayed the six-year old Madeleine Boyer, the castle owner’s granddaughter. In the years that followed, Claudel produced four marble versions of the portrait. The most finished version with detailed hair and a marble plinth, was made in 1896 at the behest of industrialist Henri Fontaine. The sculpture harks back to Renaissance sculpture. Statue of Liberty

The statue of Liberty is a statue located in New York Bay. The statue symbolises freedom, one of the fundamental values of the United States, and also serves as a sign of welcome to all: Returning Americans, guests and immigrants. (WU75727 – h. 31 cm.)
Norse gods Odin, Freya and Thor

Odin is a widely revered god. Norse mythology associates him with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry and the runic alphabet. Freya, also called Frea or Freyja, is the Nordic goddess of fertility, marriage, love and lust. Thor in Norse mythology is a hammer-wielding god associated with lightning, thunder, storms, sacred groves and trees, strength, the protection of humankind, hallowing, and fertility. Bodytalk men, tattoed

Tattoos have been applied to the skin for centuries. In the past, they were mainly worn by sailors, for example, but nowadays more and more people have them, both men and women.

James, Jacky Zegers


The dachshund is a breed of dog from Germany, originally bred for hunting. They come in various sizes, with different coats in various colours. With its quirky character, this dog should certainly not be missing. (JZB32 / JZ32 – h. 16,5 cm., l. 27 cm)

Crow and the brown bear of Pompon
Pompon, the famous French sculptor, known for his sculptures of animals. His style is characterized by a simplification of shapes and by the polished surfaces.

Not until he is 67 years old does he get his final breakthrough with the exhibition of l’ours blanc in plaster. Upon his death, Pompon left nearly 300 pieces to the French state which were eventually displayed at the Musée des Beaux Arts in Dijon. The Musée d’Orsay in Paris has a large collection of plaster models. (POM16 – h. 10,5 cm.)
Magritte, Megalomania (1967) miniature

During the last year of Magritte’s life, the renowned gallery owner Alexandre Iolas asked him whether he had ever considered making sculptures. A few weeks later, Magritte showed Iolas three sketches he had detailed with accurate dimensioning for a sculpture called Megalomania. It was a 3D version of the painting La Folie des Grandeurs from 1962. (PA28MAG – h. 10 cm.)

Dubout Cats, commode

It is common knowledge that cats sit on and crawl into everything. They like to lie in a drawer on top of clean laundry to take a nice nap. They also like to play with ribbons, rope and with each other. The Dubout kittens are no exception .. (DUB83 – h. 16 cm.)

Christ and Mary Magdalene

In this three-and-a-half foot marble sculpture, a dying man nailed to rock is mourned by a naked woman kneeling in front of him. Rodin also called it Prometheus and the Oceanid and The Genius and Pity. (RO29 – h. 17,5 cm.)
