In these sculptures we try to represent the essence of the true professional, the true craftsmanship: always busy, sometimes a bit chaotic, but always fully committed. Mascarade
(The Venetian masks) Anonymous masks have traditionally been a crucial feature in Venetian Carnival, whose origins date back to the 12th century. In the rigid class hierarchy it developed into a feast of social satire where ones social background doesn’t count. The mask-makers (mascherari) even had their own guild and laws to abide by. The Rally Car
Fully attuned with his champion role, the famous rally driver Juan Carlos Mothe was pressing his foot down on the accelerator. (FO85088, The Rally Car – h. 15,5 cm.)

Koson
New: a vase and three paper weights by Ohara Koson The Japanses artist Koson was a member of the Shin-hanga movement, that reinvigorated ukyio-e woodblock-printing from the Edo period. He dedicated himself to creating popular ‘kashÅ-ga’ or flower scenes with birds in woodblock prints. (SDA41 – h. 29 cm. and PKOS1, PKOS2 & PKOS3 – h. 3,5 cm.)
