Wren, Troglodytes, 9-10,5 cm
These tiny, hyperactive birds can be recognised thanks to their erect tails and loud song. They don’t like the cold and huddle together in groups of up to 20 in nesting boxes during the winter. The males build multiple, bulbous nests from which the female selects one.
